BEAUMARIS RUN FEST WEEKEND 2026 – 12th/13th SEPTEMBER
The Beaumaris Run Fest 2026 Weekend is being held on 12th/13th Sep-tember 2026. The event welcomes Neptune Fish & Chips of Beaumaris again as its main sponsor!
Building on the success of the previous 5 events, the weekend will incorporate races for children and the fantastic Coast 2 Castle 10k and half marathon for adults.
Junior Run Fest Saturday 12th
The children’s races are once again brought to you in partnership with Môn Actif and will be held on Saturday 12th September starting at 4:00pm. There will be a “Fun Run” for 3/4 year olds (and parents/carers!) and races for boys and girls 5/6 years old (1/2 mile), 7/8 years old (3/4 mile), 9/10 years old (1 mile) and 11/12 years old (1 mile).
All the children’s races will by chip-timed and start and finish inside the historic Beaumaris Castle! There will be refreshments and medals for all children with prizes for the top 3 in each category.
Classic Beaumaris Run Fest Sunday 13th
The adult 10K and half marathon (HM) will take place on Sunday 13th September. The routes for both the 10k and HM will start from the centre of Beaumaris and finish in the heart of the town’s historic castle – an epic finish! Along the way, runners take in an array of breathtaking views and stunning scenery.
The HM course also takes you down to Penmon Point with its iconic lighthouse looking across to Ynys Seiriol (also known as Puf-fin Island).
At the finish, you will receive a race medal to commemorate your achievement and a quality Coast 2 Castle t-shirt*. There will be prizes for the top 3 in each category. The HM starts at 10:00am and the 10K at 10:10am.
*The t-shirt is only available to the first 300 adults entered for the Run Fest weekend.
The event is run by volunteers and all proceeds raised by the Run Fest Weekend go towards supporting local good causes. Help us beat the £5,000 we raised last year!

Race categories are based on a child’s age on the day of the event.
Entry fee: £7.00 per child
Early bird rate: £6.00 if entry received before 1st May!
Price includes card fees, chip-timing, refreshments, and medals.
